I was talking to Jax back in 2001 about Binkis hopefully doing some music for videogames, but it never worked out. To me he was a gifted MC and always positive and enthusiastic. I think that's what I respected most about Binkis was the enthusiasm and joy which seemed to be lacking in most indie hip-hop, especially at the time. I just found out about Jax death now and it's pretty shocking to me. Flux, I hope you can push forward and continue making great music.
