Dujeous launches “No Clearance” series

Last Tuesday, New York hip-hop band Dujeous launched a weekly campaign called “No Clearance.” Every Tuesday, the group will post a new song incorporating tracks from unlikely sources such as the Shins and the Budos Band. The campaign ends on January 20, and Obama’s inauguration day (or, in their words, “I-Day”), after which the entire slate of remixes will be issued as the No Clearance EP.

The first two cuts, “Show ‘Em” (an election-day cut dedicated to Obama) and “Into Night,” have already been posted. You can download them here.

Dujeous’ long-delayed second album, Day In Day Out, is due sometime next year. Thanks to Oh Word for the link.
