Earlier this year I tried to befriend several bloggers by sending them introductory emails. Most of them didn’t respond — nor, more importantly, add me to those valuable “friends” link sidebars. Instead, they added me to their cretinous mailing lists, so now I get flooded with emails asking me to “promote” their posts. Funny.

America's Most Blunted
F**K the haters. Plug One and Nah Right are the only hip-hop blogs I check out on a regular basis. Keep the faith, Mosi.
Thanks!
Nice Beach Boys/Brian Wilson site, by the way…
Those are good old hip-hop egos for you.
The insulting part is that these guys assume I’m trying to “get on,” as if I’m not their equal.
But yeah, that’s how hip hop is…it’s all about pimps and ho’s, who has the power, etc. Even on the Internet. I’ve been around long enough — and seen enough hip hop egos rise and fall — to not take it too seriously.
