Yak Ballz makes a left coast run

This month, NY MC Yak Ballz is making several rare appearances on the West Coast. The freestyle vet and member of supergroup the Weathermen (whatever happened to that Weathermen album, anyway?) will be in California, Washington and Oregon promoting his latest album, Scifentology II. His companions include Tame One’s hip-hop band Slow Suicide Stimulus, New Jerz motormouths Guage Gully & Skillz (not to be confused with MC Mad Skillz) and, on select dates, Israeli-American upstart Kosha Dillz. It’s a chance to check out a few of NYC’s promising underground voices.

The tour actually started on May 6, but since I like telling you things after they happened, rather than when they happen, I’ve included all of the tour dates below.

  • 5/06: Nectar Lounge, Seattle, WA
  • 5/07: Latitude, Eugene, OR
  • 5/08: Milk, San Francisco, CA
  • 5/09: Blue Lamp, Sacramento, CA
