Lyrics Born promotes “Everywhere At Once”

It’s the day before Lyrics Born’s first album since Later That Day, and dude is in overdrive promoting it. On a post on his website titled “They can’t stop us,” Lyrics Born writes:

If you’re in the Bay on 4/22, the day Everywhere At Once drops, it’s an LB bonanza crackin’ from dusk ‘til dawn. First I’ll be doing The Chuy Gomez Morning Show on 106.1 KMEL, along with Romell and DJ Mind Motion, so make sure you tune in and request “Differences”. Later That Day (no pun [or whatever] intended) I’ll be doing a live interview for Imeem.com, then an in-store performance at Rasputin’s, in my hometown, Berkeley. Finally, that nite is my official release party at Icon Lounge in SF. I’m warning y’all, D-Sharp and I totally under-shot this venue, and unfortunately not everyone is going to get in, so try to get there as early as you can. All my peoples are coming out for this one, including Joyo, Trackademicks, and all the Top Shelf DJ’s from the Bay. Who knows, I may be able to get some of my Quammies in as well! WE ‘BOUT TO SET THIS LP OFF WITH A BANG, PEOPLES!

Wow. If that’s not enough to get you excited, then know that Lyrics Born will be bringing the Everywhere At Once experience to your town very soon. He’s starting out with two weeks of club dates, followed by some overseas and festival gigs. But fans who don’t live on the West Coast shouldn’t fret, as the rapper formerly known as Asia Born spent several years on the road last time around. If he doesn’t get to you now, he’ll get to you eventually.

“We’re only going to be playing a handful of clubs well under my draw, because I wanted to keep it intimate for my first time out since Everywhere At Once drops,” he writes. “I turned down some very large clubs (and very large offers), in order to bring it to the people on a very personal level, because I need y’all to feel me on this, Fam.”
