Del the Funky Homosapien has just announced the latest in several tours to promote last year’s Definitive Jux outing, Eleventh Hour. And since rappers nowadays promote mixtapes nearly as much as actual albums, he’s also touting his latest MP3 collection, Funkman (which he called “Part II” in the liner notes for Eleventh Hour). It drops April 7 on his Bandcamp site.
Joining Del on this travel jam will be his trusty hype man, rapper Bukue One, Souls of Mischief member A-Plus, DJ Zac Hendrix and backing band the Serendipity Project. Noted turntablist Mike Relm opens.
